Southern Arizona Hiking Club

Please be advised:  We are allotted 32 parking places at the Whitetail Campground for the Spring Picnic this Saturday.  The forest service says there will be a charge of $8.00/car for any cars over 32.  So please CARPOOL, CARPOOL, and CARPOOL.

The spring picnic is May 7. All hikes that day should allow people to attend the picnic at Whitetail Campground in the Catalinas, with a serving time of 2:30  PM.  Hikers should not arrive at the campground before 1:00 PM. Also, there will be optional camping Saturday night.
